The second BELIZE BCHII Project national workshop has been held in Belmopan, Belize at the Information and Communications Technology Centre.
Workshop objectives have been to review the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety and improve participants skills in using the BCH to find information to assist them in their areas of work. Using the management centre to register national and reference records in the BCH has been addressed, and also how to use all the available BCH education materials to develop different kinds of capacity building activities.
The activity was attended by representatives of Government sectors, including Agriculture, Health and Customs as well as people from the private sector and agricultural developement agencies.
