The Caribbean BCHII Project Regional Workshop has been held from 17th to 20th July in St. John's, Antigua.
The following countries participated: Antigua & Barbuda, Belize, Guyana, St.Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent & the Grenadines.
Regional collaboration and synergies with the forthcoming NBF regional Implementation project were analyzed by participants. Particular attention was given to the subject of BCH education materials and knowledge transfer to the education, academic and research sector, looking to foster the biosafety and BCH capacity building long-term sustainability, and taking advantage of the already existing BCH virtual courses platform, developed by the BCH projects, and available at http://moodle.bch.cbd.int.
