The Environment Protection Authority (EPA)- Yemen is holding “The national training workshop for effective participation in the Biosafety clearing-house” in Sana'a during the period from 15 to 22 September 2012, with the participation of 22 specialists from the relevant authorities.
The workshop will be implemented online mainly through webinars. Participants will receive a seven-day training, facilitated by Dr Ossama Abdelkawy the UNEP- DELC Regional Advisor, on different topics related to the Biosafety Clearing House mechanism.
The workshop is part of the activities of the second phase of the Biosafety clearing-house project, which is implemented by Yemen through EPA and in collaboration with UNEP-DELC"
