In the context of the Caribbean Regional Project for Biosafety Frameworks Implementation, on 31 October & 1st November 2016 a Biosafety Clearing House training workshop was held at St. George's, Grenada, with the objective of analysing and drafting a basic structure for a national BCH website. Several officers from different biosafety related government agencies, organizations and Institutions participated. Basic aspects or Cartagena Protocol and effective BCH use were addressed, BCH registered national information updated, National Authorized Users updated and trained on registering information in the BCH and national BCH website editors were trained on uploading & editing information. A basic structure and design for the national BCH website was agreed on. Workshop and meeting was designed and facilitated by Dr. Ernesto Ocampo, Biosafety Clearing House Specialist from Uruguay.
