Profile of the Expert
Dr. Székács has a 25-year experience in academic research related to application and biosafety of pesticides and agricultural technologies. His expertise include development of environmentally friendly pesticides, environmental analysis and ecotoxicology of agrochemicals and toxins, and side-effects of genetically modified organisms (Bt-plants). He has direct experience on synthetic organic chemistry, biological testing optimization and environmental safety assessment of biologically active materials. He is a participant in developing an Ecotoxicology MSc program and Founding Member of the Environmental Science PhD School at Szent István University in Hungary, and habilitated university teacher of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Dr. Székács is a Govrenment Expert in the Ministerial Committe Pesticide Regulation, and National Food Safety Committees of Pesticides and GMOs. His scientometric data - IF: 58.1, independent citations: 433 (ISI) + 87 (non-ISI), h-index: 7.
