Approval of the import and/or use of the LMO(s) with conditions
some confinement measures:
• 4 maize rows border row
• 200 m isolation distance to maize fields used for food and/or feed
• 300 m isolation distance to maize fields of organic cultivation
• machines in contact with LMO must be cleaned after use
• fertile plant material must be carried in closed and clearly marked repositories
• remaining fertile plant material must be destroyed. Remnants may be chopped and plowed under on the release site, or used in biogas plants
• control of release site and surrounding area for volunteers 1 year after end of experiments, volunteers have to be destroyed
note: not for food or feed purposes
