Further financial and technical support for implementation of the protocal is still crutial, therefore support is still needed in areas such as:-<br />• Human resource development on risk assessment, risk management, GMO detection, negotiation skills, legal interpretations (Liability and redress<br />• Public awareness and participation, <br />• Monitoring and enforcement, <br />• Physical infrastructure for Laboratory and Green houses facilities.<br />Financial resources&nbsp; for preparation of additional biosafety tools such as for social economic considerations for decision making.<br /><br />Re: Q. 14 - The United Republic of Tanzania ratified the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety to the Convention on Biological Diversity on 16th March 2003.
