Yes
MST-FGØ72-2
Soy FG72 was modified with the insertion of expression cassettes that code for a mutated form of epsps that confers tolerance to the glyphosate herbicide and a modified form of the hppd gene that is tolerant to HPPD inhibitors such as isoxaflutole (IFT).

The term “Recipient organism” refers to an organism (either already modified or non-modified) that was subjected to genetic modification, whereas “Parental organisms” refers to those that were involved in cross breeding or cell fusion.

The 2mepsps expression cassette was inserted into the vector in an antisense orientation relative to the hppdPfW336 expression cassette.

The version of the histone H4 gene promoter used to drive the hppdPfW336 gene contains an internal portion of the promoter sequence (referred to as “B”) was duplicated to increase the promoter activity in plant cells.

Southern blot ananlysis indicated that two partial 3’histonAt sequences in a head to head orientation at the 5' end of the insert followed by 2 complete copies of the linear fragment excised from plasmid pSF10 arranged in a head to tail orientation were integrated into the host genome. Upon integration of the FG72 insert into the soybean genome, a genomic region translocated to a new position, which is joined at the 3’ junction by 158 bases of Ph4a748 promoter sequences.

Analysis also indicated that there was no integration of fragments of the vector backbone.
