Profile of the expert
Anita Greiter studied ecology and received her master of science in 2008. She worked at the University of Vienna and at the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management in the Department of International Environmental Affairs. She has experience in nature conservation and various fields of environmental regulation with a focus on international cooperation concerning sustainable development. Anita Greiter is now serving as a scientific officer in the Landuse & Biosafety Unit at the Environment Agency Austria in the field of GMO risk assessment, monitoring and coexistence.
