Description
Transgenic Leishmania braziliensis expressing reporter fluorescent proteins to identify new medicine compounds active against L. braziliensis. Plasmid carrying EGFP reporter protein and pLEXSY-egfp-sat2 gene for resistance to Nourseothricin has been used for its development. Vector also contains ampicilin resistance casette in E. coli procaryote host used for amplification. In the recipient organism, the vector is present  in a shorthened version  without ampicilin resistance cassette and ColiE1 ori.
