Committed to create a more balanced planet, to put the 'bio' at the heart of engineering, to developing new visions of food, energy and health - bioengineers are crucial actors in a rapidly changing world. They strive to contribute to cogent, incisive projects that spur innovation and scientific exploration in all bioengineering fields and on all scales, from inner space to outer space, from the most basic molecule to the most advanced satellite.
The Faculty of Bioengineering at the Université catholique de Louvain is a 1,000-strong community that includes more than 900 students. Every year, more than 100 graduates embark on their professional careers by joining project teams in large and small companies, entering management, becoming researchers or pursuing self-employed opportunities. They share the values, expertise and hope that will drive their contributions to developing our societies with the utmost respect for human and environmental diversity.
