Brief description of the document including objective and scope:
The Ordinance on Arable Land for the Production of Seed prescribes that contained areas for the production of seeds (determined list) have to be defined to ensure the quality of seed, particularly with regard to the co-existence of various agricultural production systems. The cultivation of GM crops can be restricted in areas for the production of conventional seed of the same crop species.

The ordinance refers to the production of seed of certain plant species, for which contained areas have to be defined.
