LMO name
Black Nightshade modified for antibiotic resistance
Transformation event
S04-156
Developer(s)
Max-Planck-Institut für Chemische Ökologie
Hans-Knöll-Strasse 8

Description
The black nightshade line S04-156 was transformed with a control vector containing the gene coding for Hygromycin B phosphotransferase, which confers resistance to the antibiotic Hygromycin. This line was generated to act as a control for field experiments of lines S04-74 and S04-84
Recipient Organism or Parental Organisms
The term Recipient organism refers to an organism (either already modified or non-modified) that was subjected to genetic modification, whereas Parental organisms refers to those that were involved in cross breeding or cell fusion.
Solanum nigrum - Black nightshade, SOLNI
Point of collection or acquisition of the recipient organism
Cultivar/breeding line: Sn30
