The focus of this Guide is the technical and scientific information required for notification, and in particular for risk assessment. This module on genetically modified crop plants contains, among others: (i) Guidance on the process of notification; (ii) Guidance on the general, administrative information requirements; (iii) Guidance on the technical information requirements; (iv) Guidance on risk assessment; (v) An Annex with examples of a summaries of relevant characteristics of crop plants that are frequently used for genetic modification; (vi) An Annex with examples of summaries of relevant characteristics of genes that are frequently used with genetic modification; (vii) An Annex with examples of risk assessment.
