Brief description of the document including objective and scope:
The purpose of this Law is to protect people against pathogens.
The law regulates the measures needed to fight diseases transmissible of humans.
The Act is currently undergoing complete revision.The complete revision should ensure the application of modern measures for the detection, monitoring, prevention and control of communicable diseases and should also help to improve the management of disease outbreaks which seriously endanger public health.
