Article 18 of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety

This Portal is home to ongoing discussions and work on the handling, transport, packaging and identification of living modified organisms (LMOs) under the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety. You will find information on the Training of Trainers' Workshops for customs officers on the identification and documentation of LMOs. You will also find archives of past discussions such as the Online Forum on Standards for LMO Shipments (paragraph 3 of Article 18 of the Protocol.)
