nominations for new experts to the Online Forum are accepted on an ongoing basis. To nominate a participant to the Open-ended On-line Forum:
- National Biosafety Focal Points can nominate new National Experts, from your country, who are actively involved in scientific disciplines relevant to risk assessment and/or risk management, to participate in the Open-Ended Online Forum using the Biosafety Expert Nomination form.
- National Experts that are currently registered as participants on the Open-ended On-line Forum to update and revise their profiles and contact information. Please consult the List of Participants page and follow the appropriate links to edit your profile.
- National Experts that are not currently registered as participants to please fill in the Biosafety Expert Nomination form and forward it to your National Focal point for them to submit your nomination to the Secretariat.
- Observers from relevant organizations are kindly invited to nominate experts, who are actively involved in risk assessment and risk management, to participate as observers in the Open-ended Online Expert Forum on Risk Assessment and Risk Management. New nominations are continually accepted by completing the Observer Nomination form which is to be submitted through your Head of organization, as appropriate.
In case of problems with your internet connection, the nomination of experts may be done by filling out the offline common format
and submitting it to the Secretariat by email at email@example.com
Nominations that are not submitted electronically through the BCH should be sent to the Secretariat by email (firstname.lastname@example.org
), fax (+1 514 288-6588) or postal mail (Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, 413 rue Saint-Jacques, suite 800, Montreal, Quebec, H2Y 1N9, Canada).
