Dear Kathryn,
I would like to propose to establish an electronic bulletin “ LMO Detection Laboratories Network Bulletin: Scientific  and  Practical Approaches”, for example, which should have a status of an official edition of SCBD. I know that the most of researchers and methodologists are “hungry” on publications in official editions, from East Europe especially.  My proposal is founded on the materials of seminars which we held when preparing the Second National Report  on Implementation of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety” in Belarus. Some of our national experts and consultants brought us their analytical articles and reviews on biosafety problems in Belarus and they would like to see them published through BCH. I checked the articles and other information formats published in the BCH Column “Finding Information” – their themes cover different fields of problems and it takes much time to find the information of his interest. I hope, it is not a bad idea to concentrate the information in regard with LMO Laboratory Network in one special edition.
