Cycle 4 (31 Aug - 6 Sep) is starting today! [#7461]
Dear members of the AHTEG Sub-group,

Once again I would like to thank you for the excellent teamwork in revising the Guidance. You have now completed most of the work and, as Fran noted, this is so exciting!!!

The third cycle of revisions to the text of the Guidance is now over but there is still time to catch up if you did not manage to finish your task of last week.

As we move on to Cycle 4 of the "schedule of work" for the Sub-group, please be reminded of the agreed distribution of labour:

Francisca - Section 4 (pages 22-32)
Marja - Section 5 (pages 33-60)
Wei - Section 1 (pages 5-11)
Abisai - Section 2 (pages 11-15)
Angela - Section 3 (pages 16-20)

*** Cycle 4 starts today and ends on Sunday, 6 September 2015 ***

As usual, the latest revised background documents containing the text of the Guidance for each of the five sections with the changes proposed during Cycles 1-3 for your next task athttp://bch.cbd.int/onlineconferences/RA_ahteg_subgroup/
(PLEASE download the text and excel files for the section you are responsible for in accordance with the division of labour as indicated above).

Once again a gentle reminder that the line numbers in the documents containing revisions have shifted slightly as a result of the changes to the text. Care must be taken to locate the text lines that are referred to in the comments from the testing. If you have difficulties locating the correct text, please refer to the line numbers in the original Guidance (https://bch.cbd.int/forum/ahteg/oeof_ahteg_2012-2014/guidance_and_manual_with_line_numbers/ra_guidance_rev19jul2012.doc).

Please keep up with the excellent work!

Best wishes,
Manoela

RE: Cycle 4 (31 Aug - 6 Sep) is starting today! [#7484]
I found the comment (ID 399) is belonged to the end of section 1 when I read the excel comments file on section 2.

"The section 'choice of comparators' could better elaborate on the impact of different choice of comparators may have on the analytical robustness of the comparative assessment. Therefore we suggest the addition of the following sentence at the end of the paragraph on line 371; 'The impact of using additional comparators that are not (near)isogenic lines on the level of analytical rigour of the comparative assessment may be taken into consideration when deciding on appropriate comparators'."

Thus we could add such a sentence in the end of the paragraph of 'the choice of comparators'.

Thank you!

Dear members of the Sub-group,

You did it! You finished all the work on the individual sections as planned! I am very proud and appreciative of your hard work!

As discussed, I will collate the different sections of the Guidance with all your revisions, add the editorial revisions that were requested from the Secretariat, and post it again for your final revision period, which will start next Monday.

So, please note it down:

***21 September to 11 October: Final revisions of the Guidance (by members of the Sub-group working simultaneously on all sections of the Guidance)***

I will soon be sending information concerning the teleconference in a separate email.

Many thanks once again and all the best!
