I am pleased to convey herewith the composition of the workshop on capacity building and exchange of experiences on the safe handling, transport, packaging and identification of living modified organisms, as related to the implementation of paragraph 2 of Article 18 of the Protocol, to be convened pursuant to Decision BS-I/6 of the first meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Biosafety Protocol (COP-MOP). The workshop will meet in Bonn, Germany from 1 to 3 November 2004.
