The rules apply to contained use and deliberate release of genetically modified animals, exempted are aquatic organisms.

The document only exists in a Swedish version. In order to obtain permission to use a genetically modified animal in Sweden, consideration must be taken to human health, animal health and suffering and the  risk for genetically impoverishment and unintentional dissemination of animals.
