The stacked soybean line MON-877Ø5-6 x MON-877Ø8-9 x  MON-89788-1 was obtained through the traditional cross breading of each of the parental organisms to produce an organism that expresses each of Dicamba monooxygenase, EPSPS and results in the antisense suppression of the FATB and FAD2 genes. This results in dicamba and glyphosate herbicide tolerance and a modified fatty acid profile.

DNA insert from MON-89788-1, vector PV-GMGOX20
MON89788 is a second-generation glyphosate-tolerant soybean product, was developed by introduction of the cp4 epsps gene cassette consisting of a chimeric promoter sequence derived from Arabidopsis thaliana Tsf1 gene promoter and enhancer sequences and from the 35S of the Figwort Mosaic Virus.

DNA insert from MON-877Ø8-9, vector PV-GMHT4355
MON 87708 soybean line was developed as a marker-free LMO to exhibit tolerance to dicamba (3,6-dichloro-2-methoxybenzoic acid) herbicide.

DNA insert from MON87705 vector PV-GMPQ/HT4404
This parental organism contributed two T-DNAs that co-integrated at one locus in the soybean genome creating a DNA insert that contains a  cp4 epsps cassette and a single  FAD2-1A and FATB1-A suppression cassette.
The cp4 epsps expression cassette is under the regulation of FMV/Tsf1 chimeric promoter (1.039 kbp)
