Objective of this German Regulation [GenTSV] is the description of the principles of risk assessment and risk management of GMO used under conditions of contained use. Further objective is the contribution to risk management of GMO of deliberate releases.
Scopes of this German Regulation [GenTSV] are the contained use and deliberate releases of GMO.
It governs
• the safety requirements for the contained use of GMO
• the qualification requirements for staff responsible for projects under contained use and of deliberate releases of GMO
• administrative fines for infringements of the regulation.
The version of November 4th, 1990 was amended as of March 1st, 2021.
