Information on the content of the resource
The Guidelines provide a non-legally binding and voluntary framework and should be used as examples of good practices. The Guidelines should be applied in a flexible manner, taking into account the existing framework in the respective country, its particular situation as regards the uses of GMOs and the specific activity with GMOs. They should also be without prejudice to any other further differentiated guidance at the national level.
