The objective of this Resolution is to ensure effective participation of the Republic of Belarus in conservation of biological diversity and nation-wide coordination activities in the framework of the Convention on Biological Diversity adopted in Rio-de-Janeiro 5 June 1992 and which includes the issues of the safe use of the achievements of modern biotechnology.
