Grouping and Sorting

The buttons located on the top to the right of the Search page allow users to select various display options for search results. They are: DEFAULT VIEWSORTSHARE and EXPORT.

DEFAULT VIEW

This option is selected automatically when you access the Search page. The DEFAULT VIEW is by ‘list’ for all categories of records, except for National Records, which are arranged by Country. 

Click on the down arrow to switch the view to LIST, GROUP or MATRIX.

Clicking on GROUP will open a pop-up box with more selection options.

SORTClick on this button to select sorting options. 
SHAREClick on this button to share your results with other users either by sharing the URL or sending an e-mail. 
EXPORTClick here to export the information to a spreadsheet format.

Other options

To narrow search results, users may apply a combination of filters. For example, users can select more than one record type and more than one sub-filter within each record type. 

There are several other ways for users to organize their search results:

  1. Each Global Filter you select will appear above the global free text search box. If you click on one of them, you will see the following options: “Temporarily disable”, “Exclude results”, “Delete filter”. Select the required one.
  2. Click on the icon next to the selected filter in SUB-FILTERS section. You will also see the following options: “Temporarily disable”, “Exclude results”, “Delete filter”. Select the required one.
