What are Country Profiles and how do I view them?

  23 Nov 2021

The Country Profiles drop down menu on the top navigation bar allows users to select a country and display a summary of all the national records published by that country. It also allows users to select an overview of national records for all countries.

Please also TAKE COUNTRY PROFILES TOUR.

The country profiles are divided into 3 sections as follows:

  1. Profile information and status which indicates: Country name, Party Status, date of entry into force and a link to the country profile page on the CBD website.
  2. Additional information for the country profile displays any additional information a Party may wish to include in its profile. This is the only section that can be added or modified by national users through the Country Profiles for Biosafety Clearing-House (BCP) online format.
  3. A list of all national documents published in the Clearing-House: users can access all national records for the selected country. The number of records for each record type is indicated as well as the date of the last update. When national users open a record, they will be able to edit (depending on their user role), print or export the information into a PDF file.

Another way to access the country profile for your country:

On the Dashboard of the Submit page, expand the “Welcome” section by clicking on the down arrow. Click on your country in the “Country affiliation”.
