The law aims to ensure coexistence of various agricultural production systems (e.g. cultivation of GM crops, conventional crops, GM-free crops) and the safety of fauna and flora in the federal territory of Salzburg.
The law regulates the cultivation of GMOs on the territory of Salzburg, particularly with regard to the coexistence of various agricultural production systems.
