10th Anniversary
10th Anniversary of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety
11 September 2013 marks the 10th anniversary of the entry into force of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety. The theme for the anniversary is:
"10 Years of Promoting Safety in the Use of Biotechnology".

To commemorate the anniversary, the Secretariat has developed a short video highlighting the main achievements of the Protocol. We invite you to use the video to raise awareness about the importance of biosafety.
