This Ordinance prescribes the content of the application for contained use of genetically modified organisms classified into 2nd, 3rd, or 4th level of hazard.
The application shall be submitted by a natural or legal person (notifier) who intends to undertake or undertakes the contained use of GMOs in a closed system classified within 2nd, 3rd or 4th level of hazard, to the ministry responsible for science, on the forms prescribed by the Committee for Contained Use of GMOs.

This Ordinance has been adopted pursuant to Article 21 paragraph 2 and Article 22 paragraph 2 of the Act on Genetically Modified Organisms (Official Gazette 70/05).
