Post-release monitoring and long-term effects of LMOs released into the environment

I have been working at National Institute of Animal Health, Japan, so I am concerning about recombinant vaccines for veterinary use.
It is indispensable to assess leakage of recombinant microorganisms and viruses, and to perform long-term monitoring. Accuracy of the assessment and monitoring restrict the allowable vaccines. We have no experience about these issues, since no commercial recombinant vaccine for veterinary use is purchased in Japan now. So, I like to ask about the experiences and knowledge about the systems, methods and so on, related to the matter.
