Résultat de la décision
Approbation de l'importation/utilisation de l'OVM avec conditions
- Fertile plant material (kernels) has to be transported and stored in closed and clearly labelled repositories at any time outside the release site and laboratory. The label needs to distinctively describe the LMO and it needs to be noted that this maize is unfit for consumption and usage as feed.
- During the field trial and storage all LMO material has to be strictly separated from non transformed material.
- After completion of the field trial all remaining plant material will be chaffed and, immediately after, deeply ploughed into the soil
- Inspection of the release site on unexpected biological traits of the LMO and on reciprocal effects between the LMO and other organisms has to be accomplished at least weekly during the experimental release and sufficient risk measures have to be performed.
- Unless kernels will not be stored as seed material the germination capacity of all kernels need to be disrupted before their disposal.
- After completion of the field trial the release site and the surrounding area may not be cultivated with maize and need to be inspected for transgenic volunteers for one year. Transgenic maize volunteers have to be removed before inflorescence and disposed.
- All remaining fertile plant material has to be destroyed by disruption of their germination capacity.
