Based on the review of the data and information submitted by Applicant, the National Biosafety Regulatory Committee concluded that the risks to the environment from the commercial cultivation of MON 15985 in Malawi are negligible compared with the risks associated with current conventional cotton cultivation and will not pose a significant risk to the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity and human health.
