Prohibition of the placing on the market of GM-Maize MON 863 in Austria.
The safeguard measure for GM maize MON863 was introduced in Austria in July 2008. It prohibits the placing on the market of grain of GM maize MON863 as well as of grain of hybrid varieties derived from these lines.
According to the ordinance extending the safeguard measure, it will expire by October 1st, 2012.
