Editorial improvements to the draft guidance on "Monitoring of LMOs released into the environment"

Following an extensive revision of the draft guidance on "Monitoring of LMOs released into the environment" during the face-to-face meeting of the AHTEG sub-working groups held in Bonn, Germany, 13-15 February 2012, participants of the Open-ended Group and the AHTEG are invited to suggest ways to improve the readability and user friendliness of this document in this final round of online discussion on this topic.

For that purpose, participants are kindly invited to focus on editorial improvements when making suggestions for changes.

In view of the advanced stage of the document, only suggestions clearly marked directly to the text of the fourth draft of the guidance on "Monitoring of LMOs released into the environment" (version of 22 February 2012) will be taken into account at this stage.

Following the last revision of the "Guidance for Risk Assessment of LMOs" (version of 13 January 2012) by the AHTEG Chair in consultation with the Bureau on the basis of comments provided during the testing phase by Parties, other Governments and organizations, participants of the Open-ended Group and the AHTEG are invited to suggest ways to improve the readability and user friendliness of the Guidance.

For that purpose, participants are kindly invited to focus on editorial improvements when making suggestions for changes.

In view of the advanced stage of the document, only suggestions clearly marked directly to the text of the Guidance (version of 13 January 2012) will be taken into account at this stage.
