Online Survey on the Application of and Experience in the Use of Socio-Economic Considerations in Decision-Making on Living Modified Organisms

The survey was opened on 1 October 2009 and closed on 13 November 2009. It was developed by a panel of experts and was made possible thanks to funding from the Department for International Development of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Over 500 completed responses were received.

The report of the survey was published as an information document for the fifth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Protocol: "Summary Report on the Survey on the Application of and Experience in the Use of Socio-Economic Considerations in Decision-Making on Living Modified Organisms".
