, in which COP-MOP had invited Parties, other Governments and relevant organizations, to continue to share their research, research methods and experience in taking into account socio-economic considerations, the Division of GEF Coordination of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), in collaboration with the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, launched, on 14 October 2009, an online survey on the application of and experience in the use of socio-economic considerations in decision-making on living modified organisms.
