Though paragraph (g) mentioned the potential effect more specifically, it is really different from point (d). They are describing different things. The difference between LMO and the recipient organisms can not solely account for the risk of dispense and persistence in natural ecosystem. It is the trait or the foreign gene itself could make that. The persistence of gene in nature will also depend on which organism it will disperse into and how stressful the environmental condition is. There are factors beyond the difference between the LMO and the recipient organism. However, we may wish to revise the paragraph (g) to avoid any redundancies.
