discussion item 1 and 10
[#1266]
Considering discussion item 1 (glossary for terms and concepts that are not straightforward) and discussion item 10 that considers the use of qualifying language. Qualifying language is very useful in Risk Analysis (RA), uncertainty is always up to a certain extent present in RA and even if expressions (‘highly likely, likely, unlikely, highly unlikely’ for likelihood, and ‘major, intermediate, minor, marginal’ for consequence) are imprecise, they still improve understanding. A glossary can help diminishing the differences of interpretation. My suggestion would be to check if it is possible to come up with a common definition of what these terms mean.
Actually, it´s difficult to decide which are terms and concepts that are not straightforward. Are the terms risk, assessment endpoints, coexistence, etc. all equally understood?
