Roadmap discussions group [#1194]
I would like to add these points:
The present structure of the Roadmap is an excellent opportunity to improve graps on LMO risk assessment process, the Secretariat of the Convention should make a wide diffusion of the process and as suggested by some colleagues  , the responsability of relevant governments to implement risk assessment and risk management measures to protect environment and to promote public health must be taken also into account

RE: Roadmap discussions group [#1201]
I would like mention on the discussion item 2 & 11.
The notion that evaluation and quantification of the level of risk may be subjective. However it is hard to standardizied on the quantification process.
I think it is worthwhile to provide some successful case analysis with the exsiting relavant guidelines(step 3 and 4). The case analysis materials could be selected by STRP.

I also agree with the draft document that integration of step1 and 2 is done in step 4. As I mentioned, however some successful evaluation case could be added for effective evaluation.

RE: Roadmap discussions group-level of risk [#1210]
Dear colleagues:
The level of risk should be objective and sensitive other than subjective, methodologies should be developed in this consideration. The risk levels need to be quantified without any subjective assume. Though we may not have opportunity to do real experiments to test and to develop index or threshold for each event, there are many endeavours and people performing such works and that should be appreciated, acknowledged and encouraged at least in a manner of words in the roadmap.
