Stacked genes GMO-genes interaction
[#1188]
Dear all,
May I suggest that for point no. 2 in the document concerning stacked genes GMO, we'd also consider the stacked genes as well as the genes products interactions.
Regards,

RE: Stacked genes GMO-genes interaction

Again, following the logic that gene expression is the environmentally relevant phenomenon, let us concentrate on assessing the gene products rather than the genes. Thus, we need to know the nature of the gene products and their possible molecular interactions. Possible molecular interactions occur if they are involved in the same biochemical pathway, have similar mode of action or target the same site, or are found in the same organelle.
