Vincenza Ilardi is a senior researcher at CRA-PAV. She has experiences in molecular plant virology, production of transgenic plants resistant to viruses and risk assessment for GM plants. She has received national/international founding for her researches (e.g. EU project “GMO&Biodiv-Biodiversity loss assessment in forest ecosystems potentially induced by transgenes flow from experimental fields of GMOs"). She has published in several international peer-reviewed scientific journals. She is in the editorial board of: “GM Crops & Food: Biotechnology in Agriculture and the Food Chain” (Taylor & Francis), “Biosafety” (OMICS Group), “Clinical Journal of Microbiology and Pathology” (Jacobs Publishers) and “Petria” (CRA). She is referee for several scientific journals. She is a member of the working group “Biotechnology” of the National Italian Committee for “Codex Alimentarius Commission”. She participated as expert to the ISPRA's working group on GMOs and GM micro-organisms (GMMos).
