In nature, moth orchids grow in humid, tropical climates. They are a tropical epiphytic orchid (grow on the trunks and branches of trees) and not parasitic. Temperature lower limit is 10℃ and upper limit is 95℃.
Throughout tropical Asia from southern China, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and New Guinea.
