High leaf temperature protein 1
EN
The High leaf temperature protein 1 is a serine/threonine/tyrosine protein kinase involved in stomatal movement. HT1 functions in guard-cell carbon dioxide signaling and is required for normal stomatal responses to changes in CO2 concentration. The protein contains a kinase catalytic domain and transfers phosphate from ATP to target proteins.
EN
Loss-of-function ht1 mutants show impaired CO2-dependent stomatal movement regulation while retaining responses to blue light, fusicoccin and abscisic acid.
