The Act in accordance with the Law of European Communities lays down the rights and obligations of persons and the competences of administrative bodies in use of genetically modified organisms and genetic products.
The main scope of the act is the use of genetically modified organisms and genetic products, including contained use, release into the environment and the registration into the List for the placing on the market, public awareness and participation, risk assessment and labelling.
