The Malaysian Biotechnology Information Centre (MABIC) is established as the local node of an international network, headed by the Global Knowledge Center, an initiative of ISAAA (International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications). MABIC's objective is to enhance public understanding of biotechnology to enable well-informed decision making processes. MABIC works closely with ministries, government agencies, universities and industry.
