Result of the decision
Approval of the import and/or use of the LMO(s) with conditions
1. to keep the isolating distance of min. 200 meters from the conventionally planted plants of maize, 300 meters from the organically planted plants of maize and to perform the sowing by the conventionally planted plants of maize in the width of min. 8 rows around the plots with the GM hybrids of the maize;
2. to discard by crushing or shredding and by ploughing down into the land the remnant produced biomass of the GM hybrids of the maize (grains, the plants from protective sowing, the samples analysed on the field and the remnants from the plants);    
3. to clean all the field machines that have been in contact with GM hybrids of the maize after using them; to perform the cleaning directly on the experimental plots;   
4. to perform after the end of cultivation period in every year of cultivation the monitoring of the bolting plants from the volunteer seeds; to continue in the monitoring of the occurrence of the bolting plants from the volunteer seeds in the following year; to dispose the bolting plants manually or chemically; the cultivation of maize as a following plant in the same plots is prohibited during the period of monitoring.

Additional Information
The same field trial was implemented in the years 2009 - 2011. Both maize lines were grown during the duration of that former experimental release.

In the years 2012 - 2014, the maize MON89034 x NK603 was the only one cultivated, except for the last year of the experiment, when any maize was sown.
