Prohibition of the placing on the market of herbicide tolerant GM oilseed rape Ms8, Rf3 and Ms8xRf3 in Austria.
The safeguard measure for the GM oilseed rape lines Ms8, Rf3 and Ms8xRf3 was introduced in Austria in July 2008. It prohibits the placing on the market of grain of the mentioned GM oilseed rape lines and grain of any hybrid varieties derived from these lines.
According to the ordinance extending the safeguard measure, it will expire by October 1st 2012.
