Additional Information
Constitutive promoter directing continuous gene expression, derived from the S-adenosyl-L-methionine synthetase (SAMS) gene from soybean (Glycine max). The promoter s is structurally composed of four distinct elements arranged sequentially: (i) a 645 bp promoter region, (ii) a 59 bp 5′ UTR segment, (iii) a 591 bp intron located within the 5′ UTR, and (iv) a 16 bp 5′ UTR segment. This configuration is associated with enhanced constitutive expression, as described by Falco and Li (2007, 2010) and disclosed in patents US 7,217,858 B2 and US 7,834,242 B2
