CBSV isolate: CBSV-[TZ;Nal;07]
The Cassava Brown Streak coat protein is a capsid protein, responsible for the encapsulation of the viral RNA genome and entry into the host cell. The presence of the DAG motif (aspartic acid-alanine-glycine) in the coat protein suggests that it could enable viral transmission via aphids.
